About Us
Phil Taffin CFII
Phil has always had a love for flying.
He earned his private pilot's license in 1997, at the Ashland County, Ohio Airport, then known as Johnston Aviation. After moving to the San Luis Valley in Colorado, Phil earned his Certified Flight Instructors License, where he began private instruction. Since then, he has successfully completed the qualification for instrument instruction . Phil is the owner operator of Taffin Air and serves Knox County, Ohio and surrounding areas. He has never had an accident or incident in his flying career. Phil is enthusiastic about flying and wants to pass that enthusiasm on to his students . You will enjoy your time in the seat with Phil. He makes training fun and enjoyable!

Who Qualifies?

Flying is for men and women of all ages. The minimum age requirement for obtaining your private license is 17, but training can begin even earlier.
